We got about 8 inches of snow today in the few hours before church. The snowplows never made it but Doug McCleve took his snowblower down the street to make 2 tracks for us all to drive on. When the snowplow finally made it we found out it was perfect packing snow. His first time around he left a 3 foot perfect snowman. He knocked it over his second time around but we still had some impressive chunks at the bottom of our driveway. Poor Kent had even bigger ones but he has a better snowblower so it evens out.

Scott ended up calling the city about the last snow plow job. It was pathetic. He knocked the rocks out of our parkway into our driveway and then it proceeded to snow again. It covered the rocks and then Scott was snowblowing and hit the snow covered rocks and broke the snowblower. The to make things worse the next day our neighbor George got out of his car to get his mail and fell on the snow piled in front of the mailbox and laid there for 10 minutes before I found him to help him up. We usually think they do a good job but they must have had a trainee. I am so ready for spring!!!
